This meeting will be an opportunity to join with people around the planet who are acknowledging the catastrophic disaster at Fukushima, one year since the reactors began spewing their toxic poisons into our air, water and soil, on the fatal day of March 11th. Abolition 2000 is organizing human chains against chain reactions around the world, there are peace marchers trekking from Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power plant down to New York and Indian Point, a permit has been reserved for a March 11 demonstration in Union Square Park by the 311 group against nuclear power. Other events are in the works.
Please come and help us to organize and expand our network and plan for a number of events scheduled to be held in NYC and up at the Indian Point reactors during the week of March 7th
This is the time to strengthen our efforts to shut down Indian Point!
Please forward this notice widely!
